Musolino & Dessel is pleased to announce that, through the litigation and legislative efforts of Lisa Dessel, along with the DCHA Office of General Counsel and the DC Office of the Attorney General, DC City Council legislation has advanced to open hundreds of vacant units for eligible low-income families.
This development arose in part from Ms. Dessel and DCHA’s successful 100-case motion, addressing a longstanding legal barrier preventing the use of units tied up after a tenant’s passing. The new legislation codifies DCHA’s success in court.
DCHA is a valued client of Musolino & Dessel.
